It’s done. Well, for the most part.
I made the final fixes for VideoPlace and sent it off for review for the WordPress Theme Directory. As I’ve said before, I love using the Foundation framework, which makes developing and debugging so much easier. Really, the only fixes that needed to be made were simple CSS changes.
But it’s not completely done. It still has to get through the theme review before it gets into the directory. I don’t anticipate many issues given that this is my fourth theme to submit, but who knows. Hopefully it’s a quick process.
Speaking of theme reviews, Fotographia finally got reviewed and apparently it passed with flying colors. I wasn’t asked to make any changes. I’m kind of suspicious about that, but I will take it if it indeed passed easily.
As for where things go from here, I plan on taking some time to learn the WP REST API like I said in my New Year’s resolutions. I also want to take some time to learn JavaScript deeply since that’s the way the web is headed and I’m sorely lacking in that department. And then I hope to begin work on a premium sports theme to sell, hopefully finishing it by the time I graduate in May.
