The Commerce Street theme is a child theme of the Crosswinds Framework.

The theme is purpose built for online stores, and it comes with support for WooCommerce.

Really, there weren’t a whole lot of challenges with this theme. For the most part everything was straightforward.

The only big challenges that were faced were just general design challenges as that’s something that I’m continually working on with every project I build.

And the other was just working with WooCommerce. WooCommerce is making a slow transition over to blocks, so there are still some things that can only be changed in PHP and others that can be changed through blocks and block templates. And that’s going to be a challenge going forward as WooCommerce continues to grow and change.

Still, I think it’s a great theme for anyone that’s looking to create an online store for their business and wants to be able to customize every part of it to make it look unique without touching any lines of code.
