So the news on the Nuovo Theme is that there’s no news. It hasn’t been reviewed yet, although it seems to be in good company as there are many more themes as old if not older that have yet to be touched by the WordPress theme reviewers, which is understandable given the scope of how many themes need reviewing.
In the meantime, I’ve continued working on and creating mock ups and designs for the Giornalismo theme I’ve been working on for roughly a month now. I’ve just about gotten through creating mock ups for the tablet version. I hope to have those done today before moving back to UT for the fall semester. Then will come what I think will be tougher with the mobile version of the mock ups. Fortunately, each template (like single post, home, index, etc.) will only need one version since the sidebar(s) will be under the posts, no matter if it’s right or left sidebar or two sidebars.
Of course, the going will get a little bit tougher with the schedule tightening for me. I head back tomorrow to UT and between classes, work for The Daily Texan, a freelance gig I have and the web design work I’ve started recently, it might be hard to find time to work on plugin and theme stuff; however, I hope to get at least a little bit of work done on it each day.
In the meantime, I’ll just keep on waiting and keep on creating.
