Becoming a better, more confident developer with sports theme, plugin

    June 10, 2016

    •

    Sports Bench

Despite what I’ve done in the past four years in learning web development, I still felt unconfident in my web programming skills. But in creating a sports theme and plugin, I’ve started to feel a lot better and a lot more confident in what I’m doing.

Starting designs on the sports theme and thoughts about Adobe Experience

    May 13, 2016

    Sports Bench, WordPress

Classes are finally over for the semester, which means I have a little bit more time to get back into WordPress development. It also meant I had some time to test drive Adobe’s latest Creative Cloud product, “Experience.”

    Shipping off VideoPlace for review

    January 22, 2016

    VideoPlace

It’s done. Well, for the most part. I made the final fixes for VideoPlace and sent it off for review for the WordPress Theme Directory. As I’ve said before, I love using the Foundation framework, which makes developing and debugging so much easier. Really, the only fixes that needed to be made were simple CSS…

Slow but decent work with VideoPlace

    January 15, 2016

    •

    VideoPlace

After a wicked fast pace on development last week on VideoPlace, I kind of expected a slow up in work on VideoPlace this week. But I hope to have it done and sent by the end of the month.

    VideoPlace

Fotographia, my first WordPress theme to use the Foundation framework, took a couple of weeks of development, though outside factors ballooned that number. But VideoPlace, using Foundation 6, took just three days to finish up the bulk of development.

    WordPress

It’s been a long three-plus months. My final fall semester in college was everything that I could handle… and then some. But the semester is finally over for me and with it an opportunity to get back into developing in WordPress.

Nearing the end for Fotographia and good news with Giornalismo

    October 16, 2015

    Fotographia, Giornalismo

It’s been a busy and fun last couple of weeks of web development for me. Last week, Giornalismo was accepted into the WordPress Theme Directory and with it comes the end of just over a year’s worth of work on the theme. That has also led to really good development with Fotographia.

    Slow work on Fotographia

    September 25, 2015

    •
